Veteran Services

We are a VA Community Care Provider. Primary care physicians and specialists at local VA Hospitals refer Veterans to us for acupuncture.

Our services are free to Veterans once a referring provider determines that acupuncture is a clinically necessary treatment method and refers a Veteran for care..

According to the VA, acupuncture has a "potentially positive effect for several pain conditions" as a "stand-alone treatment or as an adjunctive treatment to other medical interventions." Acupuncture treats the following:

  • Chronic pain and headaches

  • Mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety and PTSD

  • Wellness indicators such as insomnia

Typically, the VA will issue 12 initial clinic visits. If a Veteran experiences notable improvements in the conditioned they were referred for, the VA may provide an additional 8 visits.

Some of the common conditions that we treat for Veterans include low back pain, degenerative disc disease, neck pain, rotator cuff injuries, shoulder pain, peripheral neuropathy, tremor, achillies tendonitis, migraines and more.
